Civic History

It has been my privilege and honor to serve the Town of Wells and my community! I have been a Selectman for the Town of Wells for 15 years, 8 of them as Chairman. I have also served on the Town’s Comprehensive Planning Committee, elected to the Charter Commission as Chairman, Co-Chair of the Town’s 350th Celebration, elected to the Library Board of Trustees, appointed Town liaison to the Wells Reserve and Co-Founder, past President and current Board member of Save Our Shores-Maine. I am currently a member and Chairman of the State Board of Environmental Protection, a member and past President of Wells Rotary
Club and also currently a Trustee for York Hospital. I’ve been an active member of the Wells Republican Committee for 30 years serving as Chair, Treasurer and Convention Chair.
